Planning for the December Invitation Lunch is well advanced. Mike Payne, a local cartoonist and illustrator who has created a range of successful characters across the world and written some books for children has been booked as our special guest. Mike and his wife will be at lunch too. There will be some pre-lunch activity, including seasonal music and a prize draw with several small prizes in a “Santa Sack.” A pre-lunch welcome drink is included within the charge of £25 per person.
Regrettably, members will be allowed to bring only one guest owing to seating restrictions at the venue.

AGM
The Club will hold its AGM after lunch on 20 March 2024. The venue will be the usual location of Worthing Indoor Bowls Club.
Members will receive formal notice of the meeting, together with supporting papers in February.
The AGM gives members an opportunity to express their ideas and suggestions to maintain a welcoming and enjoyable social club for retired and semi-retired people.
A committee is elected at the AGM and any member is eligible for election if proposed and seconded by two other members. Committee members serve until the following year's AGM.
