Completed application forms are sent to the Secretary who will telephone to answer any questions about the club and to gain a little knowledge of the applicants background. An invitation to join a coffee morning is offered at which the prospective member has a chance to meet and be met by members. If the applicant wishes to continue to membership, recommendations are made to the Club's Committee and its decision is final. New members receive a welcome letter confirming membership and details of lunch dates and other relevant information.

T here is a "one-off" joining fee of £45 (£67.50 for joint membership) to cover the cost of a club tie or scarf, and a name badge.

In addition there is a pro-rata membership fee currently £18 per annum (£27 joint membership) to cover the period to the following March.
